Sabbath Address #30 -> The Spiritual Gymnasium: Keeping The Sabbath

There is a lot of going around and not doing what the Bible says. I know that Jesus fulfilled the whole of the Law, yet I also know that He did not banish it. Living in a world, in a time in the world, where the Spirit of God is so desperately needed, I look at the things that I can actually do to improve my relationship and receipt of Him, not that I become puffed up, but that He can be glorified. In the laying of the first row of stones on the Foundation Stone that is Jesus Christ, aligning oneself to the spiritual metronome or time counter that God ordained at the time of Creation, helps us receive of His understanding of the frailty of the human condition. He does not need rest, we do. It is that simple.
