It would seem many leaders are rushing to cover themselves and convince their flocks that the standpoint of total conformity and total division is the right one. What's worse, is that they are cherry picking scripture to do this. Where last week was woe unto those acting out of greed and selfishness, this week shares the message of woe to those who would act out of cowardice.

Probably not the most popular message about Covid 19 and the Christian faith. Whilst the Church of Carpe Crucis does not preach recklessness or carelessness, it will not kowtow to fear, in Jesus's name. After an upsetting meeting with a couple after last week's sermon, a clear message for those loud and proud about their culture and identity in the same.
A blessed summer's day down by the banks of the Waikato River. A chance to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and to give witness to a new member of the Kingdom of God to some questioning young minds. All glory to God! |
