After a week of intercessory prayer and the glorious revelation of a clear sky over Auckland (see our sister site awordfortheworld.net for the first two parts of the blog series, 'A Prayer For Auckland') a preparatory prayer for the continued preaching on the foundation of Carpe Crucis as a church. Luke 21 v36 "Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man." Where I am going as a church, with a view on the current world situation. All glory to God, all praise, honour and worship to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. If He is for us, what can stand against? A defeated foe held in abeyance until the time of his destruction, unfortunately the realm of his suspension is this one. Believers in Jesus Christ are given the power and authority over him, yet often give way to distraction or deceit that renders them open to assault and harm. But, do not fear! greater is He that is within us, than he that is in the world. Hardly all of it, but just one minute of your time is enough. A reminder and pointer to the reason for EVERY season, with all glory, honour and praise to Him. Amen. |
