The title given in the literature for this sermon was "In View Of Hell. A celebration." A 100% human attendance increase over the previous 99 sermons, encouraging Biblical living and looking at one of the hallmark moments of Jesus's ministry. All glory to the Living God!

One of the seven foundational "I AM" statements of Jesus. Contested by those who do not believe in the triune nature of God, but confirmed by the reaction of the temple Jews who were hearing Him speak. They knew what it meant Jesus was claiming. Blasphemy or confirmation of Godly authority and identity. The journey continues... Well, we could all do with a bit, eh? A word on leaving the famous John8 v1 to 12 passage until later, and a continuance with Christ's standing in the Temple under the watchful gaze of the Pharisee's. The preacher prays that his hard words did not remove a man from his chance of salvation, we all are called to find the balance between Christ's uprightness and His compassion. |
