After the epic, nine month exhortation from the Book of John, and in concordance with the new blessing of an unofficial home, a prayerfully shorter series on Christianity and Biblical basics, all for the glory of God.

A New Chapter, A New Beginning, All Glory To God
From the first HQ in Lynfield to an HQ and Church in Piha, Auckland. The First Church of Carpe Crucis is, not coincidentally, the first church in this growing community, a place in surprisingly dire need of salvation.
It is the work of the Holy Spirit of God that we are about, and without Him it will not prosper, but we set ourselves towards the prize that the Lord has offered and proffered for all who would receive.
The current place of preaching in the church is in the gutter outside the property. Join us in prayer, and giving where possible, that the church may be built and established for the glory of God, for the fellowship of the saints and as a gateway into the Kingdom of Heaven for the lost, poor, broken, lowly, sick, afflicted and afraid according to God's riches and mercy in Glory, through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus, who is the Christ.
And so it ends! Nine months of preaching from the gospel of John. Onwards and upwards, a word on the close from the gospel, and perhaps its most famous story.
Coming to the conclusion of this gospel's exegesis, and the zenith of the Christian message; Christ risen. Overcoming sin and the grave, now in divine power and glory, fully God revealed. The Ark opened. Eyes opened. A world changed irredeemably forever. Glory hallelujah!
All creation catches its breath. The sign, "Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum", is placed at the head of the Cross. "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews." The betrayal is complete, the Devil licks his lips at the thought and taste of victory, the destruction of the Son of God by the hand of Israel's cruel oppressor... Oh Death, where is Your sting!?
The Roman procurator, Pontius Pilate, charged by his Roman masters with keeping the peace of this troublesome territory, faces a most perplexing challenge, namely the Sanhedrin's vehement betrayal of a seemingly innocent man.
After the hard words of the previous sermon, the joy of the Holy Spirit prevails to make all things new, for His glory alone.
A place of preaching that was revealed during a day of trial, one where the preacher failed again in his Sabbath observance. Now a word for Auckland from a bad tempered preacher, overwrought by a 2020 of trial, upset, travesty and rage. Onwards in the journey through teh Book of John, heading to the greatest travesty of all...
In coming to the close of this series, please pray that the Preacher does not 'skip to the end', and rush through the last chapters of this incredible book. With the Devil gone in Judas Iscariot, these chapters frame Jesus's true ministry and intent as He speaks clearly, without parables or mysteries, to the remaining disciples. He speaks of the duality of the coming time, both before His death and beyond, cherishing and sharing of the veiled secret of His glorious return, and the pouring out of His Holy Spirit upon all the earth. Glory hallelujah!
You had one job. "Six days thou shalt labour..." An epic fail and a frank admission, and the overwhelming, everlasting and unfathomable grace of God. Onwards and upwards.
Michael Robert Jackson was baptised in the name of Jesus in 2012, after a forty year walk in the wilderness, ten years after he first came to Christ. He is the least of God's children.
